Downtown Tux and Gown FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: “What gown sizes do you have?”
A: We carry sizes ranging from 0 to 28 and also do limited alterations in case the dress you MUST HAVE is out of your size range.
Q: “What is the price to rent a gown?”
A: We have 2 gown options;
*Elope gown collection: $295 (excluding couture collection)
*Elite Couture Collection: $395 (Includes veil and tiara rental)
Q: “How much does it cost to rent a tux?”
A: Our tux rental includes ties, vest, accessories, shoes and everything you need for $185.
Q: “What do you get with a tuxedo rental?”
A: The tuxedo comes complete with Jacket, Pants, Shirt in either black, white or Ivory, Vest or Cummerbund, Tie, Shoes, and cufflinks. Vests and ties come in a variety of colors, and all tuxedos come in a full range of sizes to accommodate the entire wedding party.
Q: “What are my options if I need both a gown and a tuxedo?”
A: We offer 2 different packages to accommodate your wedding needs;
*Elope Gown and Tux package: $395, This package includes an Elope gown and one of our classic tux styles complete with shoes for the tuxedo
*Elite Gown and Tux Package: $495, This package comes with an Elite Couture gown, veil and tiara included, and your choice of our 9 different tux styles and choice of vest and tie color, shoes included.
Q: “Does Downtown Tux and Gown have bridal accessories?”
A: We carry a variety of bridal accessories including; Veils, Tiaras, Headbands, Necklace and Earring Sets, Overlays, Boleros, and shoes. Most everything to get you ready for that special day.
Q: “How long can I expect the fitting and alterations to take?”
A: This really depends on your needs for your event. For a full gown fitting and alterations we do request you be here 2 hours or more before the event to allow enough time for the alterations to be complete. On the bright side after you have been fitted we will take care of the rest and deliver your gown to any of Vegas Wedding’s venues free of charge. A tuxedo fitting will take about 45 minutes including alterations, so if you have a same day event we can have you dressed and ready for your big day within the hour.
Q: “Do you steam gowns that are not from Downtown Tux and Gown?”
A: We do offer steaming of private gowns, price starts at $75 depending on fabric, style and beading on the gown. However estimates are not available until we have reviewed the gown.
Q: “Do you pick up or deliver gowns for alterations or steaming?”
A: We do offer gown transportation to and from your hotel only. For 1 way transportation it is $40 for a round trip it will cost $65 as well as the cost for the steaming and/or alterations.
